Fumbling through the Light

Updated: Feb 19, 2020

called into a few fields

spread out filled

with daffodils

happy to meet you Bill

my name is made of the hills

with your daffodils

your joking

you can't be for real

I only think of you

when all of a sudden you

come rolling down the hill

riding your barrel

not even knowing how to steer

hope you thought about this

harder than it appears

now Bill are you here to face your peers

never understood a mans need for approval

it's your business I would fear

I'm glad you'er not alone for we'd be toast by now

nicely roasted crab legs

breaking them happily

dipping in butter so warm

don't let them get to you

they'll develop your gaze

making clear what harm is gained
