thought you would give me the time of day

too bad the world ended yesterday

so you can keep time in place

please don't come my way

to take my safety away from me

sorry for the way I treated my faith

acting like nothing interested me

except your blessing

for what it is worth

I miss the thirst

I used to have

at least it could be worse

too many have fallen

to many of you

this means nothing

too many without the power to change their shame
